Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ shows a slight drop in numbers on the fifth Monday

Aamir Khan starrer ‘Dangal‘ showed a drop in numbers on the fifth Monday. The movie did a business of Rs 85 lakh on Monday. The total collection of the film stands at Rs 369.27 crore nett and the Tuesday numbers should take the collection to Rs 370 crore nett.

The movie has very less cope from hereon as two big movies, Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ and Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Kaabil’ release together tomorrow. So ‘Dangal’ will have very few screens to it and the numbers are going to experience a major downfall.

None of the recently released movies like ‘OK Jaanu’, ‘Coffee With D’ could sustain with good numbers. Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ has definitely emerged out as a winner as the movie is still doing well all over. The movie has set a new benchmark for biopics and we are sure there are going to be many more biopics to come.

‘Dangal’ directed by Nitesh Tiwari also starred Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Zaira Wasim and Suhani Bhatnagar in pivotal parts. The movie had released on December 23, 2016.
