ABCD 2 – Highest Box Office Collection Opener of 2015

Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ABCD 2 which release this 19th June, has had a bumper Opening at the Box Office collecting ₹ 14.30 crore on Day 1. With this ABCD 2 becomes the Highest Opener of 2015 so far breaking the previous record held by Akshay Kumar’s ‘Gabbar Is Back’ which was at ₹ 13.05 crore.

When we add the foreign take to the ABCD 2 Box Office Collections, the total climbs up to Rs 17.43 crore.

The domestic record was inked despite the occupancy rates in Mumbai in the morning shows for ABCD 2 falling to less than 30 percent due to the torrential rain and flooding caused by the monsoon downpour.

On the other hand, despite being the first day of Ramzan, ABCD 2 is faring well in North India.
