The movie has minted Rs 195.50 crore nett in a span of only 19 days and has emerged to become the biggest ever blockbuster of Diwali. Can you imagine that the movie has even managed to cross the collections of Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor-starrer ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo‘?

Salman Khan’s movie did a business of Rs 194.30 crore nett and ‘Golmaal’ has leaped ahead of the movie in terms of its nett collections. ‘Golmaal Again’ is surely marching towards the Rs 200 crore nett mark, and proudly so. If ‘Golmaal Again’ did not have competition from Aamir Khan-starrer ‘Secret Superstar’, it would have easily crossed Rs 200 crore by now. So yes, a solo release for the movie would have made a difference in its business. The combined business of ‘Golmaal Again’ and ‘Secret Superstar’ is Rs 265 crore nett.
