Ajay’s ‘Raid’ collects more than Akshay’s ‘PadMan’ in the first weekend

Ajay Devgn-starrer ‘Raid’ was never expected to take a flying start at the box office as it was not heavily promoted nor had some massy element in it that could have made the audiences run towards the theatres.

But, good reviews and positive word-of-mouth have surely helped the film to grow at the box office over the weekend. On Friday, the film collected Rs 9.75 crore, then on Saturday it showed a good jump and collected Rs 13.25 crore, and the movie once again saw a decent jump on Sunday and collected Rs 16.75 crore, taking the first three-day total to Rs 39.75 crore approx.

Meanwhile, ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ is in no mood to stop. The movie is still doing well at the box office and its fourth weekend collection is Rs 4.95 crore approx. taking the till date total to Rs 92.83 crore approx. It is undoubtedly a superhit.
