Animal box office: Ranbir Kapoor starrer achieves another milestone, becomes the fifth movie to enter 500 crore club

Animal movie starring Ranbir Kapoor has turned out to be a winner at the box office. The movie is doing phenomenal business not only in India but also around the world. Regarding the box office collections, Ranbir Kapoor starrer has become the fifth movie to enter the Rs 500 crore club. Speaking about the domestic collections, Animal has crossed the Rs 500 crore mark while beating the lifetime collections of Prabhas starrer Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.

The movie has collected Rs 519.64 crore in 18 days and hence, it finds a place in the top 5 movies to be in the Rs 500 crore club. The list consists of Shah Rukh Khan’s movies Pathaan and Jawan whereas Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2 and Baahubali 2 are in the top 5 list. Animal movie becomes the newest entrant in the Rs 500 crore club.

Top Rs 500 crore Bollywood movies

Jawan – Rs 643.87 crore (took 13 days to cross 500 cr mark)

Pathaan – Rs 543.05 crore (took 22 days to cross 500 cr mark)

Gadar 2 – Rs 525.45 crore (took 24 days to cross 500 cr mark)

Animal – Rs 519.64 crore (took 18 days to cross 500 cr mark)

Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion – Rs 510.99 crore (took 34 days to cross 500 cr mark)

However, the day 18 worldwide collections of Animal are yet to be announced. Nevertheless, the Sandeep Veddy Ranga directorial venture has crossed the Rs 800 crore mark. With the latest collections, Animal worldwide box office collections managed to beat Aamir Khan starrer PK. The movie will soon beat Secret Superstar.
