Animal worldwide box office: Ranbir Kapoor starrer becomes 4th film of 2023 to enter Rs 500 crore club after Jawan, Pathaan, and Gadar 2

Ranbir Kapoor has truly proved to be the superstar of his generation with his latest outing Animal. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s crime-drama has taken the box office by storm not only in India but also international circuits. The worldwide box office collection of Animal is out and within 6 days the Ranbir Kapoor starrer has earned Rs 527.6 crores.

After collecting an impressive opening of Rs 116 crore on its opening day, Animal wreaked havoc over the weekend and earned Rs 356 crore globally. With every passing day, Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal only witnessed upward trend with a huge margin and on Day 6, it has finally entered the coveted Rs 500 crore club by minting Rs 527.6 crores at the worldwide box office collection.

With this collection, Animal has emerged as fourth highest grossing Bollywood movies of 2023 to earn over Rs 500 after Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan (Rs 1148.32 cr), Pathaan(Rs 1050.3 cr), Gadar 2(Rs 691.08 cr). In the upcoming days, it will be interesting to see if Ranbir will be able to break his own record and surpass the collection of Sanju (Rs 586.85 cr) by second weekend.

Bollywood Bubble gave Animal ‘4’ stars. A part of the review read, “He (Ranbir Kapoor) is hands down the highlight of the movie, right from his first scene he charms you and captures you right till the end. You can sense what the broken child in him feels. His strained relations with the family, the Alpha male trait, that longing to be seen as a hero in his son’s eyes, everything about Ranbir is just right in the movie.”
