Animal Worldwide Box Office: Ranbir Kapoor starrer surpasses lifetime collection of Shah Rukh Khan’s Chennai Express in just 4 days

Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal released in theatres worldwide on Dec 1. Since its release, Animal is on a rampage mode. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial has been breaking box office records continuously. Speaking of that, Ranbir’s film has crossed the Rs 400 core club in just 4 days. Yes, you read that right! On Monday i.e. day 4, Ranbir starrer collected Rs 65 crores at the box office.

The film’s total collection now stands at Rs 425 crores. With these figures, Ranbir starrer has now surpassed the lifetime collection of Shah Rukh Khan’s flm Chennai Express. For the uninitiated, Chennai Express’ total collection is Rs 424.54 crores.

Animal Worldwide Box Office Collection:

• Day 1: Rs 116 crores

• Day 2: Rs 120 crores

• Day 3: Rs 120 crores

• Day 4: Rs 65 crores

Total: Rs 425 crores

In the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial, Ranbir plays the role of Ranvijay Singh, who can go to extreme lengths to protect his father, Balbir Singh (played by Anil Kapoor). Rashmika Mandanna plays the role of Ranbir’s wife, Geetanjali. On the other hand, Bobby Deol plays the role of an antagonist. Well, Bobby has less screen time but he has absolutely killed it.

Bollywood Bubble gave Animal ‘4’ stars. A part of the review read, “He (Ranbir Kapoor) is hands down the highlight of the movie, right from his first scene he charms you and captures you right till the end. You can sense what the broken child in him feels. His strained relations with the family, the Alpha male trait, that longing to be seen as a hero in his son’s eyes, everything about Ranbir is just right in the movie.”
