Another record broken, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ registers the highest Monday of all time

It’s been just five days that Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif-starrer ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ hit the big screens, yet the movie has already broken various records. Here comes one more, as the movie has registered the highest first Monday of all times, if we exclude ‘Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion’. ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ minted Rs 36.50 crore nett on Monday and only one movie apart from ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ has managed this feat, that is, the super successful ‘Baahubali 2’. What worked even more for this movie is the fact that Monday was Christmas holiday and people flocked to theatres.

The overall nett business of the movie is Rs 172.75 crore nett in just five days which is huge. Clearly, there is no stopping this action flick and what better than Salman Khan’s birthday month for such great numbers. The actor has surely earned his birthday gift with this one.
