Avatar The Way Of Water Box Office: James Cameron directorial sees a minor drop in second Wednesday collections

Avatar The Way Of Water continues to rule the box office with its successful run in terms of collections, in the country. The James Cameron directorial was released in theatres on December 17. And, since then, with a phenomenal opening of 40 crore nett on the first day, Avatar 2 is breaking records. Avatar The Way Of Water is currently inching closer to the 300 crore nett mark, in regards to the box office collections.

The James Cameron directorial saw a minor drop in the second Wednesday collections. The film witnessed the drop in collections, bringing the business numbers in the single digits. Avatar 2 crossed the 275 crore nett mark on the second Wednesday. Going by the collections, the movie managed to collect 9.50 crore nett, with an overall total of 278 crore nett plus.

With a minimal drop in the collections from the second Tuesday, Avatar 2 is going strong at the box office. A Box Office India report said that the second week collections are already a record for Hollywood as the film beats the 76.50 crore nett of Avengers Endgame. As per the reports, the second week collections of the James Cameron directorial are looking to end at 21 crore nett higher than Avengers Endgame.

According to the report, Avatar – The Way Of Water will also “easily beat Endgame in the third week  as it was only 20 crore nett.” The report stated that the James Cameron directorial is chasing the lifetime numbers of Avengers Endgame at 367 crore nett.
