Dream Girl 2 Box Office: Ayushmann Khurrana’s film inches closer to Rs 100 crore mark, collects Rs 86.16 on Day 10

Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday's Dream Girl 2 is winning hearts at the box office as its slowly inching closer to Rs 100 crore mark.

Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday starrer Dream Girl 2 is one of the most talked-about films right now. It released in the theatres on 25^th August. Since then, it has been making headlines for all the right reasons. The sequel opened on a good note at the box office. For the uninitiated, it collected Rs 10.67 crore on its first day. The Raaj Shaandilyaa directorial is winning hearts and the box office numbers are proof of that.

On Sunday (Day 10), Ayushmann’s film collected Rs 8.10 crore. It saw a slight jump as compared to day 9 (Rs 6.36 crore). The total collection now stands at Rs 86.16 crore. The film is slowly inching closer to Rs 100 crore mark.

Dream Girl 2 Box Office Collections:

Week 1: Rs 67 crore

Week 2- Day 8: Rs 4.70 crore

Day 9: Rs 6.36 crore

Day 10: Rs 8.10 crore

Total: Rs 86.16 crore

Ananya celebrates Dream Girl 2 success

Ananya Panday, who plays the role of Pari Shrivastav, recently shared unseen photos from the sets on Sunday and thanked fans for their love. The actress wrote in the caption, “Over the moon w all the love #DreamGirl2 and #Pari have gotten #Grateful.” Ananya as Pari has won hearts. Fans loved Ananya as Pari, as well as her chemistry with Ayushmann. In the sequel, Ayushmann is back as Pooja, as well as Karamveer.

The sequel also stars Paresh rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Annu Kapoor, Seema Pahwa, Abhishek Banerjee, Manoj Joshi, Manjot Singh, and Vijay Raaz.

Bollywood Bubble gave 3 stars to Dream Girl 2. Apart of the review read, “Ayushmann as Pooja is superb. He walks, talks, and acts like a woman. However, Ayushmann is unnecessarily over-dramatic as Karam. Even with limited screen space, Ananya makes her presence feel as Pari.”
