‘Azhar’ mints Rs 25.25 crore after first five days

‘Azhar’ directed by Tony D’Souza hit the theatres on May 13. After five days, the film has bagged an amount of Rs 25.25 crore. So far, its box office performance remains average.

We earlier reported that ‘Azhar’ had collected Rs 20.25 crore after its first weekend in theatres. Monday and Tuesday gathered a collection of Rs 2.75 crore and Rs 2.50 crore respectively.

A gross amount of Rs 29 crore is being projected as the film’s first week collection while the predicted nett collection is Rs 35 crore.

Starring Emraan Hashmi, Prachi Desai and Nargis Fakhri, ‘Azhar’ is based upon true events of controversial cricketer Mohammed Azharuddin’s career and personal life.
