Varun Dhawan starrer Baby John hit the screens this Christmas. However, the film fails to create its magic on-screen and in the hearts of the audiences. The action thriller misses to hit the marks of Rs 20 crore on its Day 3.
Varun Dhawan’s Baby John sees a drop on its Day 3 collection
The action thriller film managed to earn only around Rs 19 crore in India. As per Sacnilk.com, the earnings of Baby John dropped further on its third day, December 27. The film collected Rs 11.25 crore on its opening day but saw a sharp decline of 57.78 per cent on its second day, earning Rs 4.75 crore. On day three, Baby John managed to collect only Rs 3.65 crore in India.
The overall Hindi occupancy rate for Baby John was only 11.45%. Other big releases like Pushpa 2: The Rule, Mufasa, and Max continue to pose a serious threat to the movie.
Baby John stars Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff and Rajpal Yadav. It is produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, and Jyoti Deshpande. The film is the Hindi adaptation of the Tamil blockbuster, Theri, starring Vijay in the lead role.
