Bachchhan Paandey Box Office: Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon starrer first Tuesday collections

Bachchhan Paandey, starring Akshay Kumar in a key role has witnessed another drop in the Day 5 box office collections. The movie is directed by Farhad Samji and was released in the cinemas on March 19. Bachchhan Paandey has a low box office collection on the first Tuesday. The Akshay Kumar starrer that saw its first drop in the Monday business has further witnessed another drop on Tuesday. However, the Farhad Samji directorial has crossed the 40 crore mark in the five days of its release.

A Box Office India report said that the Akshay and Kriti Sanon movie has managed to rake a collection of Rs 3.25 crore nett on the first Tuesday. The total five days collection of the movie is approximately reported to be Rs 41.50 crore nett. As per the report, the drop was not much on Tuesday, but it would hardly matter if the movie went up 10%-20%.

According to the report, “Bachchhan Pandey collected a low 3.25 crore nett on Tuesday to take its five day total to 41.50 crore nett. The drop was not much on Tuesday but it would hardly matter if the film went up 10 or 20% on Tuesday. The fate was sealed on Saturday after some hope on Friday.”

Day 5 – Tuesday – 3,25,00,000 apprx

TOTAL – 41,50,00,000 apprx

As per the report, “The first week will head to the 47 crore nett but then it will lose most of its screenings to RRR giving very limited second week collections.” Meanwhile, at the box office, Bachchhan Paandey got a tough competition from the Vivek Agnihotri directorial titled The Kashmir Files that has taken the box office by storm. With the release of RRR starring Ram Charan and NTR Jr, the report stated that it will not be possible for Bachchhan Paandey to cross the 50 crore mark.

The movie stars Akshay, Kriti Sanon, Arshad Warsi and Jacqueline Fernandez. “Bachchhan Paandey seems like a guilty pleasure project of director Farhad Samji which heavily relies on star power,” said an excerpt from the Bachchhan Paandey review that was rated with 1.5 stars.
