Badass Ravi Kumar Box Office Day 1: Himesh Reshammiya’s spoof-actioner becomes his highest opener; earns nearly Rs 3 crore

The highly anticipated action-musical Badass Ravi Kumar, starring Himesh Reshammiya, had a respectable opening day at the movie office, grossing about Rs 2.75 crore in India. On Friday, February 7, the movie had an overall Hindi occupancy of 17.28 per cent, according to Sacnilk. Positive reviews from Himesh’s devoted fan base should help the movie gain traction over the weekend.

Badass Ravi Kumar becomes Himesh Reshammiya’s highest opener

Himesh Reshammiya made his acting debut with Aap Ka Surroor in 2007, earning ₹1.79 crore at the box office. His last big-screen appearance, Happy Hardy and Heer (2020), was a commercial flop, earning ₹71 lakh in total. Badass Ravi Kumar offers a stronger reintroduction for the composer-turned-actor.

According to Box Office India, Himesh Reshammiya’s The Xposé (2014) earned ₹1.89 crore on its opening day, making Badass Ravi Kumar his highest opener. The film competed with Loveyapa, starring Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor, which reportedly earned ₹1.3 crore on day one.
