Badhaai Do, directed by Harshvardhan Kulkarni, starring Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar was released in theatres recently. The movie was released on February 11. It also opened with positive reviews from critics and fans. Talking about the film, Badhaai Do made a decent collection on day one of its release, at the box office. The Rajkummar and Bhumi movie went on and collected Rs 1.65 crore nett. Badhaai Do has witnessed a growth in the box office collections on day two of its release.
A Box Office India report said that the Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar starrer showed good signs as the collections on Saturday went up to 60-70%. The report said that Badhai Do has made a collection of Rs 2.50 crore plus. The total collection at the box office should be around 4.25 crore nett, as per the report.
According to the report, “Badhaai Do shows good signs on Saturday as it went up around 60-70% which is the first time this sort of growth has come on Saturday. The numbers remain muted but its a good sign that the pre covid sort of trend has come into the picture again.”

The report further mentioned, “The Saturday growth was generally proving to be reclusive as no film even went up 50% in the last two years. the second day numbers will cross 2.50 crore nett and the two day number should be around 4.25 crore nett.”
Badhaai Do is the sequel of the movie Badhai Ho starring Ayushmann Khurrana. Bollywood Bubble gave Badhaai Do, featuring Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi three stars and called the movie “refreshing“. “Badhaai Do makes you feel the struggles, the challenges of Shardul and Bhumi but the inconsistency in screenplay makes it difficult to get invested in the characters till the end,” read an excerpt from the review.
