Badhaai Do Box Office: Rajkummar Rao & Bhumi Pednekar starrer witnesses a drop on Day 7

Badhaai Do, directed by Harshvardhan Kulkarni recorded a decent collection at the box during the first weekend. The film features Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar in key roles. The movie managed to make a good collection on the first Monday. The film saw a boost in box office collections on Valentine’s Day. However, Badhaai Do saw a drop in the box office collections on the first Tuesday. The movie recorded a 20%-25% drop in the collections. The Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar starrer has witnessed a drop in the day 7 collections.

A Box Office India report said that Badhaai Do had a low first week at the box office. The report mentioned that the film managed to collect a little under 12 crore nett on Thursday. However, the trend of the movie is decent with Thursday collections being 50% of the first day. So far, the Rajkummar and Bhumi starrer has collected 11.85 crores in total.

Badhaai Do box office collections so far:

Day 1- Friday: Rs 1.65 crores

Day 2- Saturday: Rs 2.72 crores

Day 3- Sunday: Rs 3.45 crores

Day 4- Monday: Rs 1.85 crores

Day 5- Tuesday: Rs 1.12 crores

Day 6- Wednesday: Rs 1 crore

Day 7- Thursday: Rs 75,00,000 apprx

TOTAL – Rs 11,85,00,000 apprx

According to the report, “Badhaai Do had low first week collections of a little under 12 crore nett though the trend of the film is decent with Thursday collections still being 50% of the first day. The problem is when you dont open you got to be hoping that Thursday ends pretty close to day day one..”

The report said, “If the film can record collections on the second Friday which are similar to Thursday then it can add another 4-5 crore nett in week two.”

Bollywood Bubble gave Badhaai Do three stars and called the Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar movie ‘refreshing’.
