Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt-starrer ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ ruled the box office in its second week. The new releases came without much fanfare, and that worked in the favour of ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’.
The movie in its first week collected Rs 71.77 crore, and in the second week it collected Rs 26.25 crore. Well, it’s a big drop in the second week, but still it’s not bad, as there were three releases in the new week, the screen count of ‘BKD’ had gone down.
The total collection of the film is Rs 98.02 crore. In its third weekend, the film will easily reach the 100 crore club. Another blockbuster for Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan! (Also Read: Box office: ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ registers the highest second weekend business of 2017)
It will be interesting to see if ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ will be able to sustain or not in front of the new releases ‘Anaarkali Of Aarah’ and ‘Phillauri’ which hit the screens today.
