Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan-starrer ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania‘ has won everyone’s heart because of their cute chemistry. Varun and Alia’s magic has worked wonders for this film and the result of it is that the movie is holding strong at the box office even on its second weekend.
As per the statistics, this Shashank Khaitan directorial collected Rs 6.50 crore on its second weekend. This is despite facing a competition from Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh’s ‘Phillauri’. Anushka’s second home-production venture, ‘Phillauri’ opened to mixed reviews from the critics, but audiences failed to appreciate the film. ‘Phillauri’ has had a decent first weekend collection.
Talking about ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, it is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Production. The film has become one of the highest earners of this year so far. The total collection of the film stands at Rs 104.83 crore at the box office.
