‘Banjo’ fails to break the box office band, ‘PINK’ continues to rule on its second Monday

Riteish Deshmukh and Nargis Fakhri starrer ‘Banjo’ dropped drastically on Monday, and seeing the continuously dropping figures, we doubt the movie would survive another weekend. On the other hand, ‘PINK’ continues with its superb run at the box office, as phenomenal performances and positive word of mouth proved a boon for this socio thriller.

On Monday, ‘Banjo’ earned a meagre amount of Rs 85 lakh, taking its total earning to Rs 6.35 crore only. ‘PINK’, on the other hand, seems to be slowing down a bit on its second Monday, but has still managed more than ‘Banjo’ by raking in Rs 1.75 crore. The total earning of ‘PINK’ now stands at Rs 51.76 crore.

With the current stats, it is pretty much evident that ‘Banjo’ will not be picking up much now. ‘PINK’ has emerged as a clear and deserved winner.
