‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ fairs well on its 4th day, and ‘TEPK’ continues to do well

Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ took a slow start at the box office. However, the film has showed a good jump over the weekend. After collecting a decent amount of Rs 11.25 crore in three days, the movie showed a drop on its fourth day. However, it cannot be said that collection of the movie on its first Monday is bad.

The Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao-starrer collected Rs 1.75 crore approx. on its first Monday, taking the four-day total to Rs 13 crore. If the movie stays stable in the coming days then the first week collection would be around Rs 18 crore. On the other hand, Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar-starrer ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ is in no mood to slow down at the box office. On its second Monday, the movie collected Rs 2.75 crore which is quite good. The total collection of the movie till date is Rs 115.50 crore approx.

While ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ is already a superhit at the box office, ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ has only this week to collect well at the box office, as next week there are three big films releasing, ‘A Gentleman’, ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’ and ‘Qaidi Band’. So, due to these movies, ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ might also face a huge cut down in the screens. However, if the other three films turn out to be a dud then there are chances that ‘BKB’ might continue to do well at the box office.
