Ajay Devgn directorial Bholaa has had a decent first day at the box office, in terms of the collections. The film featuring Ajay and Tabu in key roles, was released in theatres on March 30. And, the movie has scored a doubt digit, in terms of the box office collections. Ajay Devgn starrer Bholaa has managed to make it on the 13th spot, in terms of the highest opening, in the post-pandemic times, at the box office.

A Box Office India report said that the Ajay Devgn directorial had a fair first day. The film opened with a double digit collection of approximately Rs 10 crore. With the movie being scheduled on the Ram Navami holiday, it managed to rake a decent collection from several mass pockets. In terms of the collections, the 3D version of the movie helped it further at the multiplexes.
Speaking of the first day collections of Bholaa, the film collected a total of Rs 10-10.25 crore nett.
As the film has released on a holiday, it gets a benefit of maintaining a good hold on collections in the first week. Due to the strong opening, Bholaa is expected to make a slightly higher collection on the first weekend. And, the film’s first weekend collection is expected to be a decent one.
According to the report, “Bholaa had the 13th highest opening day post pandemic for original Hindi content.” The report even mentioned that the movie was expected to push towards a first day collection of Rs 11 crore nett. However, the collections in Maharashtra and MP, pockets where Devgn’s starrer’s do better, didn’t come out as good as they should have.
Meanwhile, the film Bholaa is directed and produced by Ajay. It also features Tabu, Gajraj Rao, Deepak Dobriyal, Amala Paul, Sanjay Mishra, Makrand Deshpande and Kiran Kumar.
Bollywood Bubble gave the movie Bholaa a rating of three stars in the review. The Bholaa movie review had ‘high octane scenes’ and mentioned that ‘Deepak Dobriyal steals the show’.
