Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Gully Boy’ is not only loved by the audience, but has also been praised by the critics. The Zoya Akhtar directorial is going strong at the box office. The film, that hit the theatres on February 14, crossed the 50 crore mark within three days of its release and is still going strong at the box office.
‘Gully Boy’ is slowly reaching towards the 100 crore mark. On its sixth day, the film has minted around Rs. 8. 05 cr. Trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share about the film earning a substantial amount of revenue from the metros.

Going by the figures, it won’t be long before the film enters the coveted 100 crore club.
Produced by Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby Productions, the movie also stars Kalki Koechlin, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Vijay Raaz and Vijay Varma in pivotal roles.
Both the lead actors – Ranveer and Alia have been showered with praises and love for their terrific performance. Alia’s mentor loved the film so much, that he has even demanded a spin-off film based on her character Safeena. The filmmaker even called ‘Gully Boy’ a cult classic of modern times. He also expressed his happiness regarding his dear friend Zoya making such marvellous films.
The soundtrack of ‘Gully Boy’ too has been topping the charts, with ‘Apna Time Aayega’ becoming an anthem for the underdogs.
