Box Office Reports: ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’ leaves behind ‘The Zoya Factor’ and ‘Prassthanam’

This week we had three films hitting the silver screens. ‘The Zoya Factor’, ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’ and ‘Prassthanam’. However, none of them succeeded in living up to the critics and the audience’s expectations. Out of the three films, only ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’ managed to earn a decent amount on its opening day at the box office.

Sunny Deol’s son Karan marked his debut with ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’. The film also stars Sahher Bambba. As per a report in Box Office India, the film earned Rs. 1.1 crore approx. on its day one at the box-office.

Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan starrer ‘The Zoya Factor’ despite having two big stars had a lukewarm response on its day one at the ticket window. The Abhishek Sharma directorial earned Rs. 65-70 lakhs approx on its first day.

Sanjay Dutt’s home production ‘Prassthanam’ that also featured Manisha Koirala, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Panday, Ali Fazal, Satyajeet Dubey & Amyra Dastur also performed poorly at the ticket window.  The Deva Katta directorial collected around Rs. 75-80 lakhs on its opening day.

So among all these three films, ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’ has emerged as a winner. Now it has to be seen how much these films are able to mint in the coming days.
