Debutant director Amar Kaushik‘s horror-comedy ‘Stree’, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles, garnered great reviews from critics and audiences alike. In Bollywood, very rarely do we come across films of this genre living up to everyone’s expectations.
Both Rajkummar and Shraddha enthralled the audience with their performance in the film. The film that released on August 31, has finally entered the coveted Rs. 100 crore club in its third week. Until last Tuesday, the film had minted around Rs. 85.60 crore approx at the box office.

Announcing about the film’s great achievement, film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter and wrote, “And #Stree hits a century… Crosses ₹ cr mark… [Week 3] Fri 2.14 cr, Sat 3.76 cr. Total: ₹ 101.43 cr. India biz… This one’s a LOTTERY for its investors. ”
An elated Shraddha Kapoor couldn’t contain her happiness after her film crossed the 100 crore mark at the box office. The actress expressing her happiness posted, “Thank you for all this love. Words aren’t enough”
