Box-Office Report: ‘Total Dhamaal’ crosses the Rs 150 crore mark

‘Total Dhamaal’ is crossing one milestone after the other. The film is hitting the ball out of the park every passing day as it crosses some coveted figure or the other. The latest achievement for the film is that it has crossed the Rs 150 crore mark at the box-office.

Trade expert Taran Adarsh took to social media to share the figures of the film. He wrote, “#TotalDhamaal continues to find favour in mass circuits… Gathers speed on [fourth] Sat and Sun [although screens/shows have reduced]… Crosses ₹ 150 cr… [Week 4] Fri 95 lakhs, Sat 1.60 cr, Sun 2.50 cr. Total: ₹ 150.76 cr. India biz (sic).”

This ensemble comedy flick has so far collected Rs 150.76 crore at the box-office. ‘Total Dhamaal’ is a full-on entertainer and is not at all preachy in any way.

The Indra Kumar directorial received mixed reviews from critics and fans all over.  ‘Total Dhamaal’ is a total laugh-riot and it once again emphasises that mass entertainers can work even in today’s day and age.

The film is the third instalment of ‘Dhamaal’ franchise and it also brought back the hit pair of Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit on the silver screen. Apart from them, the film also starred Ajay Devgn, Ritesh Deshmukh, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra and many others. Jackie Shroff’s cameo as the GPS voice is too funny to miss out.

‘Total Dhamaal’ has been facing stiff competition at the ticket counter with newer releases. However, it has managed to keep its draw among the masses intact.
