Bunty Aur Babli 2 box office: Rani Mukerji & Saif Ali Khan starrer week 1 collection is UNEXPECTED 

Bunty Aur Babli 2 starring Rani Mukerji, Saif Ali Khan, Sharvari, Siddhant Chaturvedi started on a dull note at the domestic box office. The film which was released on 19 November, failed to enthral the audience as the box office collections of week 1 looks disappointing. The film raked in Rs 2.60 cr on day 1 and now, the YRF film has earned Rs 11.15 cr on week 1. Well, with such poor performance at the box office, YRF would have definitely not hoped for this number since they decided to hold on to the film’s release right through the pandemic.

However, apart from Bunty Aur Babli 2 box office, Sooryavanshi that was released two prior to Bunty Aur Babli 2 did exceedingly well at the domestic markets. The film not only created some box office records but is now aiming to touch the Rs 200 crore mark. Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer has collected Rs 184.93 cr. 

Meanwhile, other films like John Abraham and Divya Khosla Kumar starrer Satyameva Jayate 2 and Salman Khan & Aayush Sharma’s Antim: The Final Truth have also been released. With Bunty Aur Babli 2 sharing the screen space with the other two films, the collections will surely get affected.

Meanwhile, Bollywood Bubble gave 3.5 stars to the sequel of Bunty Aur Babli. A part of the review read, “The movie ends with a hint of another part, a 4.0 version, and honestly, we are totally waiting for it. Bunty Aur Babli 2 is entertaining and fun, but original, original hota hai!” 

Bunty Aur Babli 2 starring Rani Mukerji, Saif Ali Khan, Sharvari, Siddhant Chaturvedi released on 19 November.
