Chhaava Box Office Day 3: Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s historical action film enters Rs 100 crore club

Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s historical drama Chhaava roars at the box office. The film has earned Rs 31 crore on the first Sunday. Chhaava has now entered the Rs 100 crore club just in three days, earning a total of Rs 116.5 crore.

Chhaava roars at the box office on Day 3

Chhaava has made its name in the Rs 100 crore club in just 3 days. The excitement level is on point with the film earning Rs 31 crore on its opening day, Rs 37 crore on day 2 of the release, i.e. the first Saturday and a whopping Rs 48.5 crore on day 3. And with this, Chhaava left behind Vicky Kaushal’s previous major hit, which was Uri: The Surgical Strike.

Chhaava is a biopic of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the second ruler of the Maratha Confederacy. Bollywood has previously delivered major historical hits like Kesari, Padmaavat, Tanhaji, and Bajirao Mastani. Chhaava has surpassed them at the box office.

Chhaava is produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films and directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava tells the story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. The film has generated strong anticipation since the release of its trailer and AR Rahman’s soundtrack.
