The film has rapidly surpassed the Rs 150 crore mark in India, reaching Rs 165 crore after only five days of release.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Chhaava earned an estimated Rs 24.5 crore on Tuesday, maintaining a stronghold at ticket counters. The film achieved a Hindi occupancy rate of 32.52%, with the highest footfall recorded during the night shows. Maharashtra continues to be a key market for the film. Pune showcases a remarkable 69% occupancy across 705 shows. Mumbai records 54% occupancy across 1,419 shows.

Although there was a slight decrease in earnings on Monday, the film still garnered over Rs 20 crore, a significant achievement for recent Hindi releases. Film trade expert Taran Adarsh anticipates further growth in “Chhaava’s” earnings, particularly in Maharashtra. He attributed it to the holiday on Wednesday (Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti).
Based on Shivaji Sawant’s Marathi novel “Chhaava,” the film depicts the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. He was the eldest son of the Maratha emperor Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film has ignited a strong response from fans. Chhaava boasts an ensemble cast, featuring Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, and Ashutosh Rana, alongside Vicky Kaushal.
