Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! grosses Rs 8.70 crore in two days

Sushant Singh Rajput’s ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!’ released on Friday. The murder mystery got a decent opening, collecting Rs 4.20 crore on its first day itself. Things changed for the better after the second day. The Dibakar Banerjee directorial ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!’released across 1240 screens in India. However, the box office figures are fluctuating.

Trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and gave out its overall box office numbers. He wrote:

The Dibakar Banerjee directorial ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’, is facing hot competition from Paul Walker starrer ‘Furious 7’. Hopefully the critically acclaimed venture will be able to make it’s stand against the Hollywood blockbuster.
