The film Doctor G saw a decent opening than the movie Code Name Tiranga, at the box office. The Ayushmann Khurrana starrer and Parineeti Chopra movie was released theatrically on Friday, October 14. And, both the movies, Doctor G and Code Name Tiranga clashed at the box office due to similar release dates.
A Box Office India report said that the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer did resonably well on the first day at the box office. The report mentioned that Doctor G made a collection of 3.50 crore nett approximately, on Day one.
As per the report, the collections of the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer are far better than the actor’s other releases, in the post pandemic era. Doctor G has managed to do around 15-20% better than Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, and is in a similar zone.

Code Name Tiranga witnessed a dull opening. The movie featuring Parineeti Chopra as the lead had very dull collections. It made a total collection of 15 lakhs nett on the first day. As per the report, Code Name Tiranga failed to bring an audience, leading to its low collections.
The report stated, “Codename Tirangaa had very dull collections of 15 lakhs nett as the lower concessional rates failed to bring an audience and this lead to collections being very low as it never got extra footfalls the rates it should have got. There is little hope with such low numbers.”
