The movie Doctor G witnessed huge growth on the second day at the box office, but the film Code Name Tiranga collected poorly. Both, the movies clashed at the box office, on opening day. The Ayushmann Khurrana starrer managed to open with a collection of over 3 crores, while the Parineeti Chopra movie collected around 15 lakhs nett on the first day.
On the second day at the box office, Doctor G has made a collection of over 4.50 crore nett while Code Name Tiranga did not see many footfalls. A Box Office India report said that Doctor G made a collection of 4.75-5 crore nett on the second day.
The movie saw a rise of 35-40% in terms of box office collections. In total, the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer has collected 8.50 crore nett in the first two days. And, the film Doctor G is expected to collect much more during the weekend. As per the reports, the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer will now need to see solid growth on Sunday, to keep it in with the chance for a good hold on Monday.

Day 1: Friday – 3,60,00,000
Day 2: Saturday – 5,00,00,000 apprx
Total – 8,60,00,000 apprx
According to the report, “Doctor G saw good growth on Saturday as collections went up 35-40% and it collected 4.75-5 crore nett. The film had done well on Friday evening which led to lesser growth on Saturday evening. This growth on Saturday has become the issue for films in this zone. Doctor G has collected 8.50 crore nett over the first two days.”
The Parineeti Chopra starrer Code Name Tiranga has not performed well on the second day at the box office as well. The movie collected a mere 0.25 crores on the first Saturday. As per reports in a section of the media, Code Name Tiranga has collected approximately 0.40 crores only, so far, at the box office.

Meanwhile, the film Doctor G also features Rakul Preet Singh and Shefali Shah in a key role. Talking about Code Name Tiranga, the film also stars Punjabi singer Harrdy Sandhu.
