The portal also stated that the Abhishek Pathak directorial will have a target of 50 crore nett plus in week two and that is too easy to achieve. Ajay’s Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior is the only film of the actor to cross 50 crore nett in week two and Drishyam 2 should be the second.
Well, the movie will have to face a tough competition this Friday as Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon starrer, Bhediya is releasing on November 25. So, Drishyam 2 has a tough competitor ahead. This year before Drishyam 2, two movies of Devgn released in theatres-Runway 34 and Thank God. Both tanked at the box office. But, the Hindi remake of the Malayalam movie has proved to be lucky for Ajay. It would be his first movie to enter the coveted 100 crore club.
The film also starred Tabu, Shriya Saran, Akshaye Khanna and Ishita Dutta in pivotal roles.
