Dunki Worldwide Box Office: Shah Rukh Khan starrer continues its exceptional run, enters the 200 crore club in 4 days

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki released this month on 21st December and is continuing its stupendous run at the box office. Dunki marks the first collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and director Rajkumar Hirani and the result of their collaboration is the box office numbers. The love and praise from the netizens continue to rain over Dunki. Within three days, Dunki has earned more than Rs.157 crores at the worldwide box office and continues to soar high. Now, on its fourth day, Dunki’s total collection at the global box office stands at Rs.211.13 crores.

The Shah Rukh Khan starrer is not only performing exceptionally well at the box office, but is also garnering praise from the audience. Despite being a non-action movie, Dunki is receiving appreciation for telling a real story. Dunki speaks about Donkey flight, an unconventional or rather illegal way to enter into international countries. Dunki perfectly combines love, friendship, family and the longing to return back home.

In an event, Shah Rukh Khan had opened up about Dunki and had said, “So when I made Jawan, I thought I made a film for boys and girls but I didn’t make anything for myself, then I made Dunki. So this is my film. This film is very close to my heart. When I was doing Pathaan, many people who write about films, those who apparently know about films more than the filmmakers, were saying what kind of roles I was doing, so I really felt that I should do films that come from my heart and this includes all the films that I did this year.”
