Dunki Worldwide box office: Shah Rukh Khan starrer continues its exceptional run, mints over Rs 361 crores

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki marked the first collaboration between him and director Rajkumar Hirani. The box office collections of Dunki are proof of their team up. Dunki hit the release date on 21st December and it is continuing its exceptional run not only at the box office but is also ruling hearts. Recently, Dunki crossed Rs.340 crores at the worldwide box office and now, the numbers continue to grow. As of today, Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki has earned Rs. 361.30 crores globally.

During the promotional events of Dunki, Shah Rukh Khan fondly spoke about Dunki, and also shared the meaning behind it. Speaking about the movie, SRK had said, “Raju Hirani saab ne bhi kabhi aesi film nahi banai. When we finished the film and saw it for the first time, humko aesa laga Raju Hirani saab ne love story bana di hai which spans ages.” He added, “And it’s a very touching film. I think ye pyaar ki kahani hai, isme action hai jo Raju Hirani ne kabhi dala nahi hai. Bahot saare sequences aise hai jo I think maine nhi kiye hai. All that is there but as Raju never shows his films in the trailers and teasers. He likes people to come to the theatre and enjoy it. So, you will find lots of love and comedy.”

Recently, Dunki also became the first Bollywood movie to get premiered at the prestigious Le Grand Rex in Paris. Le Grand Rex, the biggest cinema in Europe was seen fully drenched with the fervor of Dunki. The film has been receiving tremendous love from the audience overseas. They are fondly connecting with the movie and their love was well visible at the Le Grand Rex. A huge queue of fans was seen even outside the cinema hall.
