The eighth day business of ‘Udta Punjab‘ dropped drastically to around 85%. The collections dropped in entirety. There were expectations from the North, but with the Punjabi film ‘Sardaarji 2’ in competition, the North area couldn’t help either. So on the eighth day, the movie could rake in somewhere around 1.25-1.50 crore. The week one business was a total of 47.50 crore, so that makes the gross eight day business to 48.75- 49 crore.
Overall, the film is looking at a finish of 58-60 crore gross. The difference between ‘Haider’ and ‘Udta Punjab’ is basically the collections in East Punjab and Delhi city.
