Ek Villain Returns released in theatres on July 29. The movie stars Arjun Kapoor, Tara Sutaria, Disha Patani and John Abraham. The cast left no stone unturned to promote the movie. But it received mixed reviews by critics and audience. On Day 1, the movie opened with average numbers at the box-office. It collected Rs 7.05 crore. On Day 2, on its first Saturday, the Mohit Suri directorial saw a slight rise as it pocketed Rs 7.47. On Sunday, on Day 3, the film saw a significant growth as it raked in Rs 9.02 crore. So, the total box-office collection of Ek Villain Returns stands at Rs 23.54 crore.

Ek Villain Returns is the sequel to the 2014 hit film, Ek Villain, which starred Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Ritesh Deshmukh.
