Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi‘s recent release ‘Mr X’ has the actor in an all-new avatar of an action-hero. The film’s satellite rights have fetched an approximate Rs 25 Cr. The movie has opened to a slow start and collected around Rs 4.5 crore on day 1. By day 2, the sci-fi thriller collected Rs 4.39 crore. However, hings changed for the better on Sunday as the Emraan starrer minted Rs 5.10 crore. Thus the total box office collection for three days, came upto a grand total of Rs 13.99 crore.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted

The family entertainer managed a 60% opening in single screens and 25% opening in multiplexes, despite the ongoing IPL season. Sources said, “The weekend business of Mr. X is just a bit higher than last week’s Ek Paheli Leela due to better collections at multiplexes but the cost of Ek Paheli Leela was much less. The business is extremely dull across the board and even circuits like Nizam / Andhra and CP Berar where Emraan Hashmi films had a better market have not performed better.”
So seems like things are looking up for Emraan Hashmi’s sci-fi thriller ‘Mr.X’
