We are sure that beating the box office record of ‘Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion’ will be quite difficult for a film. The Hindi dubbed version of the movie had collected Rs 510 crore at the box office, and we all had been waiting to see as to which Bollywood movie would beat this record.
Currently, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif-starrer ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ is ruling the box office and it is highest grossing Bollywood film of 2017. Well, we are yet to know if the lifetime collection of ‘TZH’ will be more than ‘Baahubali 2’ (Hindi dubbed version) or not, but recently the Salman-starrer broke a record that was made by the Prabhas’ film.
‘Baahubali 2’ (Hindi dubbed version) had collected Rs 16.53 crore on its second Monday, making it the highest second Monday collection for any movie. However, this record has been broken by ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial collected Rs 18 crore approx. on its second Monday. Well, we cannot ignore the fact that it was a public holiday on Monday (1st Jan), but still beating a record made by ‘Baahubali 2’ is surely a big deal.
The total collection of ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ is Rs 280.04 crore till now. It looks like the lifetime collection of the movie will be around Rs 320-330 crore. However, if it continues to do well in its third week too then it might easily reach Rs 350 crore.
