First Monday business of Varun’s ‘Judwaa 2’ is spectacular

Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu-starrer ‘Judwaa 2’ has become a hit at the box office. The film had a spectacular opening on day one and since then, the numbers have just been ringing in for it. Within three days, ‘Judwaa 2’ entered the Rs 50 crore club and even the first Monday has proved to be great.

On its first Monday, ‘Judwaa 2’ raked in Rs 18 crore nett at the box office. The total collection of this film after four days stands at Rs 76.25 crore. Definitely, the extended weekend has worked in favour of this film despite garnering negative reviews from the critics. Being a public holiday, audiences made it a point to make the most out of this day and flocked to the theatres. Plus, it has an advantage of being a solo release. This year we have seen a lot of films clashing at the box office and the result has not been great. But ‘Judwaa 2’ locked a solo release date and proved to be a success. We wouldn’t be surprised if ‘Judwaa 2’ enters the Rs 100 crore club in coming two days. Well, with this, team ‘Judwaa 2’ has all the reasons to celebrate. Directed by David Dhawan, it is the remake of 1997’s hit film ‘Judwaa’ that had starred Salman Khan in the lead.
