First Tuesday business of ‘Jagga Jasoos’ is disappointing

‘Jagga Jasoos’ that made it to the theatres last Friday has been having a disappointing run at the box office. Even though the film picked up over the weekend, the weekday proved to extremely disappointing for the film. First Monday witnessed a huge drop in box office numbers and the trend continues. The first Tuesday collection of the film is similar to that of first Monday. The film minted approximately Rs 3.25 crore at the box office on Tuesday.

With this, the total collection of the film stands at Rs 38.75 crore. Despite having stars like Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif and despite taking four years to be completed, ‘Jagga Jasoos’ has failed to live up to the expectations of the audience. The film is directed by Anurag Basu and is a musical.

We now look forward to ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’ that releases on July 21. It stars Ratna Pathak Shah, Aahana Kumra, Konkona Sensharma and Plabita Bothakur.
