Sridevi-starrer ‘MOM’ has received a positive response at the box office. It had a slow start, but then the positive word of mouth helped the movie to gain momentum over the coming days. Over the weekend, ‘MOM’ enjoyed a good box office collection. The numbers then dropped on its first Monday, but were somewhat equivalent to that of its first day collection. On its first Tuesday, ‘MOM’ managed to collect approximately Rs 2.75 crore which is decent. On day one, ‘MOM’ had collected approximately Rs 3 crore.
The total collection of ‘MOM’ is Rs 19.25 crore, which is quite decent for a film like this. It clashed with Kartik Aaryan’s ‘Guest Iin London’ but surely took the lead. Directed by Ravi Udyawar, ‘MOM’ dwells into the relationship that a mother shares with her daughter, and to what extent she can go to protect her kin.
Moving forward, we are now awaiting the release of Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif’s ‘Jagga Jasoos’. It will make it to the theatres on July 14. (Also Read: ‘MOM’ movie review: Sridevi’s brilliant act and a fantastic story make this one a must watch)
