Director Gauravv K Chawla’s directorial debut ‘Baazaar‘ featuring Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte, Chitrangada Singh, and newcomer Rohan Mehra released last Friday. Interestingly ‘Baazaar’ released alongside other films like ‘Kaashi’ and ‘5 Weddings’, but at the box office, the film has left behind others.
So considering the fact that multiple films released last week, the first weekend collections of Saif Ali Khan starrer are comparatively good. Film critic and analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and shared the figures of the film’s first-weekend collection. According to him, the film minted 3.07 cr (approx.) on Friday, 4.10 cr (approx.) on Saturday, and 4.76 cr (approx.) Sunday respectively. And the overall collections of the film so far is Rs. 11.93 cr approximately.

Upon its release, ‘Baazaar’ mostly received favourable reviews. Saif Ali Khan was showered with praises for his portrayal of Shakun Kothari, a sharp businessman. The film also marked the Bollywood debut of late veteran actor Vinod Mehra’s son Rohan Mehra.
