Tiger Shroff and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer ‘A Flying Jatt’ showed a growth over the weekend, but unfortunately the growth was below expectations.
Though, it was a partial holiday on Thursday (first day), the film only collected Rs 6.75 crore. On Friday, the collection of the film saw a fall and it collected Rs 5.50 crore. However, on Saturday and Sunday, the collection of the film saw a growth and collected Rs 7 crore and Rs 8.25 crore respectively.
The first extended weekend collection of the film is Rs 27.50 crore which is strictly average. Tiger’s previous release ‘Baaghi’ had collected around Rs 38 crore in three days. It looks like the mixed reviews that the film received made moviegoers stay away from the theatres.
On the other hand, ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ maintained well on its second weekend and collected Rs 4.25 crore, taking the till date total to Rs 21.73 crore. Thanks to its low budget, the movie has proved to be a profitable venture at the box office.
Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Rustom’ collected Rs 5.75 crore in its third weekend, taking the total to Rs 120.35 crore.
