Gadar 2 box office week 1: Sunny Deol starrer becomes second highest grosser, expected to cross Rs 300 cr mark soon

Gadar 2 movie starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel is having a dream run at the box office. The movie hit the 100-crore mark in its first opening weekend. Now, Gadar 2 has completed its first week and the film is unstoppable. The second part of the 2001 film is still continuing to earn in double digits and that makes the movie closer to the 300-crore mark.

Yes, after entering the 100-crore and 200-crore clubs with full glory, Gadar 2 is marching towards the 300-crore club. Sunny Deol starrer earned Rs 23.28 crores on day 7, making a grand total of Rs 284.63 crores. Despite facing a clash with Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2, the film is roaring at the box office. Gadar 2: The Katha Continues is expected to earn another Rs 20 crores on Day 8 which will help to cross the Rs 300 crore mark.

Though the movie is yet to cross the 300-crore mark in domestic markets, the film has already made a spot in that club. With the latest trends, Gadar 2 becomes the second highest-grosser movie of 2023 after Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan. That’s not it, the movie is also the highest-grosser movie of 2023 globally as it earned Rs 364.57 crore.

Directed by Anil Sharma, and produced by Zee Studios, Gadar 2 also stars Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma.
