Bollywood Bubble gave OMG 2 3.5/5 stars. A part of the review read, “If you’re looking forward to watching an entertaining film that also talks about a very important social message then OMG 2 is the right choice for you!”
Meanwhile, we rated Gadar 2 1.5/5. A part of the review read, “Gadar 2 starring Sunny Deol is outmoded and offers nothing new. The movie lacks logic and seems too overdramatic. The constant Hindu-Muslim war or debate or the Indo-Pak reference gets a little too much, it like Anil Sharma seems to have overstretched the topic. But to sum it up, it is not a Sunny Deol movie, his onscreen son Jeete aka Utkarsh Sharma takes the movie forward.”
