Gangubai Kathiawadi Box Office: Alia Bhatt starrer sees a jump in Tuesday collections due to Women’s Day

Gangubai Kathiawadi, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali saw a jump in the Tuesday collections at the box office. The Alia Bhatt starrer was released in theatres on February 25. And the film has managed to make a good collection at the box office. The Alia Bhatt starrer that had crossed the 100 crore mark globally, recently is now inching towards the 100 crore mark, nationally. The Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial opened with Rs 10.5 crore nett on the first day of the release. Gangubai Kathiawadi continues to rake a decent collection at the box office and is expected to cross 100 crore in some days.

A Box Office India report said that the film saw a jump in the Tuesday collections due to Women’s day. The movie collected Rs 3.75 crore nett on the second Tuesday. In total, the Alia Bhatt starrer has collected Rs 95.75 crore nett in the twelve days of the release. The movie is expected to be in the 34 crore nett range in the second week, as per the report.

According to the report, “Gangubai Kathiawadi showed a jump in collections on Tuesday as footfalls went up in multiplexes and it is said to be due to Womens Day. The growth came mostly from the major multiplexes and the film collected around 3.75 crore nett on its second Tuesday.”

As per the report, “This takes the business of the film to 95.75 crore nett and it should hit the 100 crore nett mark by the end of the week. The second week of the film is going to be in the 34 crore nett range which is an excellent number. Gangubai Kathiwadi is heading for the 115 crore nett mark at least and it could even cross 120 crore nett..”
