Rohit Shetty’s comic flick ‘Golmaal Again’ has beaten the collection of Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ and Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu-starrer ‘Judwaa 2’. The movie has raked in approximately Rs 135 crore nett in the first week itself.
This makes it the highest Hindi grosser of the year. Talking of ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ and ‘Judwaa 2’, the movies had collected Rs 94.21 crore nett and Rs 94.95 crore nett in their first week, respectively. So, it’s a huge achievement for ‘Golmaal Again’ which has managed to achieve such high numbers in just its first week. If we have to talk about the all-time business ranking, then the movie ranks at the tenth spot. Clearly, the movie’s progress report denotes that the figures are going to be unstoppable. The comic-caper is surely rousing the interest of the audience and we won’t be surprised if it manages to enter the Rs 200 crore club.
