‘Good Newwz’ Box-Office Report: Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor film gets a good start on Day 1

Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani starrer ‘Good Newwz’ hit the screens on December 27. The movie created a lot of buzz before its release and the makers left no stone unturned to make it a huge success. It opened with good numbers at the box-office on Day 1.

Film critic and trade analyst, Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle to share the first-day collection of ‘Good Newwz’. He tweeted, “#GoodNewwz packs a solid total on Day 1… Gathers speed from evening shows… Multiplexes especially record excellent numbers… North circuits dominate… Biz should multiply on Day 2 and 3… Fri ₹ 17.56 cr.”

On the weekend, the collection might pick up more as compared to Friday. Also, in the coming Friday, there are no big releases and it will help ‘Good Newwz’ to pocket a good amount.

Writing about the film, Bollywood Bubble review said, “Evaluating the good and bad of the film, this is a MUST WATCH to end the decade on a high note. Not just this year, but even throughout the whole decade, you have seen much much better films, but ‘Good Newwz’ isn’t a harm to watch at least 2-3 times.”
