‘Good Newwz’ Box-Office Report: Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor starrer enters the 100 crore club

Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani starrer ‘Good Newwz’ entered the coveted 100 crore club on Day 6. On Day 1, the movie opened with good numbers and even before entering the first week, it minted more than Rs 100 crore. On January 1 that was a holiday, ‘Good Newwz’ collected Rs 22.50 crore. So, the total collection stands at Rs 117.10 crore.

Film critic and trade analyst, Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle to share the box-office collection of ‘Good Newwz’. He tweeted, “#GoodNewwz is ? The film is set in the backdrop of a goof-up that happens when two couples with the same surnames go for in-vitro fertilization and wait for their babies.

‘Good Newwz’ is being helmed by Raj Mehta and the comedy film has been co-produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Shashank Khaitan. It had hit the screens on December 27.
