It locked horns with Taapsee Pannu and Saqib Saleem’s ‘Dil Juunglee’ and Excel Entertainment’s ‘3 Storeys’, but collected more than both, on opening day.
‘Dil Juunglee’ has recorded a poor opening, minting Rs 25 lakhs approx. ‘3 Storeys’, on the other hand, stands with a first-day collection of Rs 35 lakhs approx.
‘Hate Story 4’, although it holds a better position that its competitors, has failed to beat the first-day business of the previous edition. ‘Hate Story 3’ had recorded an opening day of Rs 8.5 crore approx, and remains the highest opener among all four as of yet.
